Lambing Session dates for 2024

Every spring we welcome over 1000 new lambs to the farm. It is
one of our busiest times of year but is a real highlight of our farming
calendar.

Come
along, visit our shed, and see what lambing is all about…oh and cuddle some
baby lambs! All experiences will catch a ride on our Quadbike Trailer
Tour.

We are
excited to be running our Full Lambing Program this year and we hope you can
come along an join us on one of our sessions.

Full Day Session – 10am-5pm. £195+Fees.

Spend a full day getting hand’s on experience in the lambing shed. 6 Spaces per session. 16 years and over.

Include a 3 course lunch in the Farmhouse.

This course requires a minimum of 2 people to run.

Half Day Session – 1.30pm to 5pm. £80+Fees.

Get hands on at Lambing time! Spend the afternoon in our lambing shed. You will be able to get involved and help out with some daily tasks and still have time to cuddle the lambs. 6 Spaces per Session. 13years and over. Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Evening Sessions – Tuesday and Thursday Weekdays 4.30pm to 6pm. 1.5 hours. £20+Fees. Under 2’s Free.

Join the farmer in the lambing shed and find out all about lambing while getting to hold the lambs and enjoy a Quadbike Trailer ride through the fields. Suitable for 1 years +

Weekend Sessions – Weekends, 3 sessions available at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. 1.5 hours. £20+Fees. Under 2’s Free.

A family session suitable for all ages over 1 years old. Lots of time to find out about lambing time, hold some lambs and enjoy a Quadbike Trailer Tour round our fields. Suitable for 1 year +

Things to note

Please do NOT arrive any earlier than 10 mins prior to your session.

You will need to wear outdoor clothing; wellies and waterproofs preferably to keep you clean and dry or wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

If you are pregnant or trying for children we unfortunately have to advise you NOT to take part in this lambing experience this year.

If you have allergies: dust, animal, straw etc please check with your doctor prior to booking.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

No food and drink must be consumed while in the sheds.

Toilet and Hand washing facilities are available.

We do not bottle feed lambs during tours, but there is loads of times for cuddles.

We do have to mention that this is real life and there could probably be a few moments that are best avoided by the SQUEAMISH!
