Film And Photo Shoot Location on Loch Lomond

Nestled on the western shores of Loch Lomond, our farm sits in the heart of Glen Finlas—just a 30-minute drive north of Glasgow. The landscape offers a stunning mix of rugged hillsides, natural glens, native woodlands, a tranquil reservoir, and open fields divided by traditional drystone walls. You’ll also find classic Scottish farm buildings, livestock (cattle and sheep), and a scenic single-track road—perfect for capturing authentic rural Scotland.

With its proximity to Glasgow and easy access via main routes, our farm has long been a sought-after location for film, TV, and photography projects. Over the years, it has featured in a range of productions—from the iconic 1980s Scottish TV series High Road (where our own Farmer Bobby even made a cameo!) to modern dramas such as Taggart, Shetland, and The Loch.

The glen was also the backdrop for the 2011 feature film The Eagle, starring Channing Tatum.

As tenant farmers, we work closely with our landlords, Luss Estates, who must be contacted regarding all filming permissions and location fees, which are shared between us. – www.lussestate.co.uk/contact-us

Whether you’re planning a photo shoot, TV production, or feature film, our location provides the perfect blend of accessibility and breathtaking Highland scenery.
